According to the artist, he built his personality before the breakthrough. He made the name Fancy Gadam known in the Accra before attention was drawn towards his music. Staging a show at the National Theater and the Tamale Sports Stadium (now Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium) put the artist on the map. It has granted him the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (such as New Artist of the Year in 2017) and the International Reggae & World Music Awards (including Most Promising Entertainer and Best Afropop Entertainer). After he was named New Artist of the Year, he unveiled his collaboration with Sarkodie on "Total Cheat", which later on secured him other awards. He also made it clear that the concept of his "Total Cheat" song was born out of people's reaction after his TGMA Award. With artists like Medikal and other popular names in the same category as Fancy Gadam, he still came out on top, and so some fans were like, "This is a cheat". The artist, with his creative mind, took advantage of the situation and created a hit song, "Total Cheat," which fans are still vibing to. This is because an artist needs attention from the fans, and controversy helps in doing the work well." The Host then asked, "Based on your assertion, do you think your rivalry with Maccasio was cooked?" The artist then said, "This is not a matter of cooking; at the end of the day, I'm more talented. He revealed that he has an upcoming show, which will be held at the Bukom Boxing Arena is anticipated to be a sold-out show. The concert is named "Gadam Nation Concert, coming up on 29th November, 2025. Supporting artists like Daatey, K Town DL, SBio, Sapashini, Rastee, Omario CK, Show Boy, IBEE Melody, Peter Leahy, and Addi Self.
