He began his career as an artist in 2016 and has since become a leading figure in Northern Ghana’s music scene, Tamale to be precise. He gained prominence through his Dagbon-inspired project, Tales of a Dagomba Boy, a four-volume series released between 2019 and 2024. The project showcased his unique musical style and lyrical depth.

Most of BlaqVibe’s education took place in the north, beginning from Kindergarten through to Senior High School. He sat for his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in 2014 at Synergy Star International School, where he passed with flying colors and was admitted to St. Charles Minor Seminary/Senior High School. BlaqVibe completed St. Charles in 2017 and went on to study Information Studies at the premier institution, the University of Ghana, where he successfully earned a Second Class Upper in his degree certificate.

Music Journey

His music journey kicked off back in 2016 under the name Mizta Viber. He started making waves with tracks like “Sharon Stone”, and teamed up with Wiz Child (aka The Legend Boy) on “Yiko”, which helped him gain early attention. Over the years, he kept building momentum with collaborations like “Over” featuring Exo-Xan, “Good Time” with Okoro, “La’ri” with Wumbee, and “Alhamdulilah” featuring Burna Razy. He also worked with Ricch Kid and Zavierking on “Zantimana”, and linked up with Gingsen on “Bondali”, among many others. But it was in 2019, when he rebranded as BlaqVibe, that his rise to prominence truly began.
